Marketing teams must be outstanding storytellers, crafting a compelling brand narrative with veracity.
That narrative also needs to be cohesively stitched together well beyond traditional media to create lasting impressions with customers across their brand experience. In addition, marketers must deliver accurate messaging that builds credibility. Once trust in a brand is established, 63% of consumers say, they’re more likely to purchase new products, and 55% say it will keep them loyal.
There is already pressure on marketing teams to develop a vast array of content, and in many cases, they aren’t being given additional resources to do so. The average marketing budget dropped from 9.1% of company revenue in 2023 to just 7.7% in 2024, for example.
Many marketers already see the value of generative artificial intelligence (genAI) in addressing these issues. The technology can synthesize vast amounts of data and augment creative work, helping them produce content quickly and at scale.
